Stories and grand tales from Charlie's time growing up
Charlie Vanture grew up in a military family. Born in France, he moved frequently when growing up, living all over the United States from New York City to Colorado Springs. He came to Tallahassee for college, where he met his wife and settled there to raise their two children. He plays guitar in the band and is the primary mini-van driver. He loves guacamole, unsweetened iced tea, the Cleveland Browns, the Cleveland Indians, and high stakes ping-pong.
Claire is originally from Neptune Beach, Florida. She moved to Tallahassee for college. She has an MBA and does graphic/web design and marketing consulting for small businesses. She plays bass in the band and serves as navigator and “car hostess.” She loves her deaf pitbull Griffin (named after Patty Griffin), the Jacksonville Jaguars, live music, and beating Charlie at high stakes ping-pong.
Sarah Mac is a Tallahassee native. She sings for the band, and also plays both guitar and piano. She loves to cook and read, Michelle Obama, World Cup soccer, and still mourns the end of Downton Abbey. She knows very little about the NFL, yet still consistently picks more winners than Charlie in NFL brackets. She is a terrible ping-pong player.
